My name is Ryan McGreevy and I am a software developer and scientist. I am the owner of Panoptesoft, LLC an AWS cloud computing focused company.
My most recent employer was the Theoretical and Computational Biophysics Group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Research Programmer.
There, my work is focused on developing software and methods for modeling biological structures. Much of that work is described in my various scientific publications.
Before that, I worked as an engineer on military flight simulators, an assistant in a chemistry laboratory, and as a pharmacy technician. My undergraduate education was in biochemistry and computer science, and I hold a Master’s degree in bioinformatics.
In my free time I like to read, write, and game.
