My name is Ryan McGreevy and I am a software developer and scientist. I am the owner of Panoptesoft, LLC an AWS cloud computing focused company.

My most recent employer was the Theoretical and Computational Biophysics Group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Research Programmer.

There, my work is focused on developing software and methods for modeling biological structures. Much of that work is described in my various scientific publications and was presented at hands-on workshops .

Before that, I worked as an engineer on military flight simulators, an assistant in a chemistry laboratory, and as a pharmacy technician. My undergraduate education was in biochemistry and computer science, and I hold a Master’s degree in bioinformatics.

In my free time I like to read, game, and explore the outdoors.
